Loop is an insider city guide curated by musicians, bands and DJs. The site gives exclusive recommendations for unique and authentic experiences around the world. The project was a collaboration between Six:Thirty and the multi-talented pop artist Little Boots. We worked together to launch the concept: from branding to user experience.
Loop is a backstage pass to the world. Our goal was to convey a sense of exclusivity through all stages of user experience.
We started by creating a visual language around music and travel. Bold and adventurous, with a unexpected micro-interactions that create a reflection of a life lived on the road.
First-hand artist quotes in statement typography, torn paper textures and a muted colour palette contributed to the visual framework – somewhere between a gritty dive bar and a five star hotel.
The design of the site was where we combined the approach to identity with a responsive layout system. Focused on giving centre stage to artist’s quotes and recommendations, a modular grid allows for a seemingly free-floating layout.
